This page describes the standard this site is built to, and how to tell us when a page falls short of it.

The standard

This site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA. That is our house standard for every page, not a target for some future version of the site.

How the site is checked

Keyboard navigation and color contrast are part of every page’s definition of done, checked before a page ships, not after. Automated accessibility checks run against the built pages.

Known limits

Automated checks catch a real but limited set of problems. A full manual screen-reader pass across every page is a task we have not yet completed.
